How many floors in your building and how many apartments
per floor?
Malibu Mooloolaba has 10 floors with 2 units per
floor. All apartments are two bedroom, two bathroom and
all have ocean views.
What facilities do you have? What size is the pool and is it heated?
Our facilities are all exclusive to our guests and feature a heated lap pool and spa for your enjoyment.
Do you have a secure carpark and how many cars per apartment?
We have a security car park with one park allocated per unit, except the penthouse units which are allocated two parks.
Is reception open for late arrivals?
Can I arrange for late checkouts or early check-ins?
Yes!…..whilst our Office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday
to Friday and 10am to 2pm Sundays, if you anticipate a late
arrival please advise us so that we can make alternative
arrangements. We provide a key safe for after hours check
outs.
Do you handle group bookings (eg: wedding parties), and
would a discount rate apply?
Yes we do offer a discount for group booking – weddings,
sports etc.
Do you have a Tours desk to arrange tours?
Yes!….we have a Tour Desk at reception. If you have any
requests our friendly staff will by more than happy to help
you. We can book bus transfers, tours, car hire, trips to
Fraser Island, Whale Watching etc.

Is public transport near-by?
The local Sun Bus stop is a short 10 minute walk and you
will be able to catch it to Noosa, Caloundra or Maroochydore
Is there a Restaurant on site?
There is no restaurant on site but Malibu Mooloolaba is situated in the middle of the restaurant strip.
What are the room configurations, do the apartments face the ocean and have the ocean views?
All apartments face the ocean and are two bedroom, two bathroom with Spa bath, full kitchen and laundry facilities.
Are the apartments serviced, and can you arrange for extra linen?
Our apartments are serviced after one week or arrangements can be made for more frequent servicing.
Can we arrange for an extra person to stay in the apartment?
Yes….extra person over people are able to stay with a fold up bed or cot. Additional costs apply.
Are the apartments fully self-contained
and are they all furnished the same?
All apartments are fully self-contained and furnished
with a queen and two single beds or a queen and a double
bed.
Are your rooms “wheelchair friendly”?
Our complex and all apartments are wheelchair friendly with
no stairs to negotiate.
Do you have cable TV and do the rooms have DVD, VCR’s?
We have Austar TV available in all apartments as well as
DVD players.
Do the apartments have direct phone access? What
about Internet access and where is the closest Internet
café?
All apartments have direct dial access and the local internet
café is only 3 shops away.
How close is the patrolled beach?
We are situated right on the Esplanade overlooking the beautiful
Mooloolaba Bay. The patrolled beach is just a short 3 minute
walk away as is the Mooloolaba Surf Club.
How far are you from the Surf Club, shops, supermarket,
the Wharf and Underwater World?
We are situated across the road from Mooloolaba Beach and
Surf Club which is open for meals 7 days per week. The local
Coles supermarket is a short 5 minute walk and Malibu Mooloolaba
is centrally located in the heart of Mooloolaba.
Distance from Maroochy airport and Brisbane Airport? Can
you arrange for transport to and from the Resort?
Sunshine Coast Airport is approximately 20 minutes drive
from Mooloolaba with the Brisbane Airport situated one &
half hours south. Airport transfers can be arranged, just
call us.
Do we need a car for our stay?
No car needed as we are centrally located in the heart of
Mooloolaba so everything is a short walk or catch the local
Sun Bus. We are also able to help you with hire car rental
if you wish to explore further afield.
